1, access point (AP, wireless router mode) - the most basic functions!
Work in access point mode, and general wireless router is the same, both when the routing, but also as a pure AP to use, support for 802.11g 54MBps wireless LAN access. 28MW-251MW adjustable transmit power!
2, Repeater (relay function) - the most useful features highlights!
For the location of the signal not strong enough to place a powerful WRT54G wireless router, you can extend the wireless signal to enhance the wireless coverage area, while the wireless signal into a cable signal, for the other cable access equipment use (in lieu of client) !
Note: the test can relay the wireless router or AP with a D-LINK, TP-LINK, LINKSYS, Belkin, NETGEAR, DWnet, Siemens, Netcore, SMC, Tenda, BUFFALO, NEC, etc.
3, Wireless Client Mode
The reception of radio signals and will no longer transmit signals out, will only receive the received radio signals transformed into cable signal, is like a LAN port with no need to drive the same wireless card (for satellite sharing, XBOX PS2 Wireless Access network or when driving to avoid the use of the wireless network card to the desktop machine) Note: It may be because the firmware or the BETA version of the client in use is not too stable, can be REPEATER mode instead!
4, the client bridge (AP to AP wireless bridge)
Supports two WRT54G with wireless bridge mode to connect two different LAN, set the bridge mode to the other side as long as the AP's MAC to copy into its own AP's "Wireless Bridge" items can be, and this pattern will no longer launch the wireless signal to the other wireless clients to receive. (Suitable for wireless communication between the two buildings in use)
5, Repeater Bridge (bridge relay function)
